From Livingston into Monroe:
Deputies searching for vehicle involved in two county pursuit
that led to crash

Deputies are still searching for a suspect vehicle in a pursuit that has spanned two counties and led to a three-car crash in Brighton. The pursuit started in Livingston County according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office (MCSO).

The MCSO says just before 1 p.m. Wednesday (April 21) the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office informed the MCSO that it was pursuing a vehicle that was heading north on State Route 390 into Monroe County. About 20 minutes later, the MCSO says one of its deputies spotted the vehicle on Monroe Avenue in Brighton, then saw it go through a red light at the intersection of Clover Street and Allen's Creek Road.

The MSCO says the deputy activated his emergency lights to get through the intersection and while doing so, ended up getting involved in a three-car crash. The MCSO says the suspect vehicle was not involved in that crash and was last seen heading north on Clover Street. Two people involved in the crash complained of pain, but refused medical treatment, according to the MCSO. The deputy was not injured.
