Senior quarterback Justice Fanaro

in the Yellowjackets' win over
Frewsburg on Thursday night.

It wasn’t easy, but Perry won its third straight game, over Frewsburg on Thursday night. The Yellowjackets overcame an early 16-0 deficit and stormed back to seize a 60-46 victory behind nine touchdown passes from quarterback Justice Fanaro. The Perry senior finished 22 of 40 passing for 281 yards and the nine scores while adding four carries for 25 yards.

After falling behind in the early going, the 'Jackets rebounded with a three-score second quarter to take an 18-16 lead at the half. It remained a one-score game throughout, but with under two minutes to go in the fourth, Fanaro found senior wide receiver Cam Petrie for a third time, which put Perry ahead by two scores.

Petrie recorded 10 receptions for 97 yards and three TDs, while fellow senior wideout Riley Kowasz also caught three TDs and finished with five receptions for 87 yards. Sophomore WR Braeden Wolfanger made eight catches for 83 yards and two scores, while senior RB Michael John Grover made one catch for a 14-yard TD. Grover added four tackles on defense from his linebacker position, while senior linebacker Lucas Sears led the 'Jackets' defense with nine stops. Wolfanger and Petrie each made seven tackles.

Perry is now 4-1.
