2423 Confirmed Cases:
County's Covid Cases Still Rising

Rebecca J. Ryan has announced that that as of Tuesday, April 13, 2021, the number of lab-confirmed positive community cases of Covid-19 hit 2,423 among Wyoming County residents. This is an increase of four cases from the last reported increase on Monday, April 12, 2021. Ms. Ryan is the chairwoman of the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors who gives this official Wyoming County Health department report.

The Northeast Quadrant of Covington, Middlebury, Perry, and Warsaw has the most positive cases with 854 of which 13 residents are in mandatory isolation. Perry Central Schools reports that that NYS finds 36 total positives (18 on-site students testing positive and 18 off-site students testing positive, 5 teachers/staff testing positive of which 3 were on-site and 2 were off-site. Total positives (students, teachers, staff) were 41 with 18 at the elementary level and 23 at the junior-senior high level.
