Nice Easter, Mostly Sunny, High 53°
This is that time of the year when the expectation of Spring and Summer builds our spirits in hope. Yet it is that time when we cannot be certain that winter is done with us. Somehow, Easter fills us with greater hope that at least the calendar and tradition are on our side and so we are closer to Spring than we might suspect. Easter is the Holy Day emphasizing lifelessness coming into full blown new life and that will soon be portrayed by all of Mother Nature's multicolored best.

Christian writing tells us that the seasonal death through to new life (fall and winter) is meant to be compared with the life of Jesus Christ and ultimately to our own death and resurrection. The Christ assures us that he has gone to prepare a place for us and will return to take us there one by one. We are also told that at some point the resurrection will be a worldwide (all-at-one-time) event. Not that I get a choice, but I think I prefer the one-on-one event where singularly I am ushered into spiritual eternity. Both are known as the hope of Christian faith. Best wishes for a Very Happy Easter!
