A DUSTING OF SNOW QUICKLY MELTED

The weather was quite different in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, not far from Minneapolis, where the funeral of 20-year-old Daunte Wright was taking place.

The funeral was filled with strong and numerous human emotions including those of working against the ingrainings of the oppressors and the power of moral strength that comes from working to raise up the oppressed. This, of course, is a dominant Scriptural theme, today expressed through the words of Isaiah, both in the Jewish Scrolls and in the Christian Scriptures.

As the weather was expressing itself, it seemed as though the excited winds and flakes were helping to emphasize spiritual truths as the powerful and trustworthy words were spoken. Many, including others who lost family members to a policeman's gun, and emotional government representatives who brought words of hope and proclamation.
