Silver Lake Institute:
2021 SLI Public Programs Slated for Outside to Max Safety and Numbers

Both the CDC and NYS Covid-19 Rules allow for higher attendance numbers when events are scheduled outdoors. This is why SLI's 2021 concerts will take place on the Big Blue Dock at the foot of Wesley Ave. (across Lakeside Ave. from Hoag Memorial Art Gallery).

The grassy greenway which runs from Camp Rd. to Genesee Ave., provides for a seating area for the concerts on the Dock. The three green areas (1) front lawn of Hoag along Wesley, (2) back lawn of Hoag cor. Wesley, (3) across Wesley Ave. from Hoag. Each are SLI green properties and therefore available for seating with lawn chairs and blanets.

Spiritual Life Sunday Services will also take place at the Big Blue Dock at 10:30 am Sundays. Smaller classes and those with guest teachers will take place at the Birt Park Gazebo at 10:30 am on the announced dates. Coffee House bands will perform on the porch of Stoody Hall and guests will seat on the Stoody front lawn.

The Celebration of Life (Memorial Service) is scheduled for the Dock for 10:30 am Sunday, August 1, 2021. The Silver Lake Experience, originally scheduled for this summer has been postponed until next summer--2022. Shake on the Lake takes place July 29-31 at the new Perry Public Beach on Walker Rd., the first bend in the road before the Pioneer Cabin coming from the south.
