Pastor Hospitalized with Pneumonia
The Rev. Tony Hipes, pastor at Perry First United Methodist Church, was hospitalized last Saturday and diagnosed with pneumonia. Tony is now back home. He now needs to rest for two weeks. There will be no in-person worship for the next two weeks.
Silver Lake residents are often seen participating with this congregation in its worship services and church dinners and sales. A few years back, the PFUMC congregation would spend July and August worshiping at Epworth Hall with the Silver Lake community.
