Congratulations Mara Rooney, artist/set designer for the Superbowl Halftime Show
"Love it or hate it--for me this halftime show was the first event I've worked on in nearly ten months," said Mara who has served on the Epworth Committee and helped improve its stage and lighting features. Last Sunday's Superbowl show star was singer/songwrriter and producer known as the Weekend.
"It was actually a really fun set to paint. I don't think people realize how difficult this show really was to pull off." Her company created some of the buildings and the signs on the Future Vegas tiered skyline set." It was a great show as was the set features. Congratulations Mara.
Our sincerest condolences in the loss of your beloved grandmother to Covid-19 just two days later. Mara was unable to visit her in her grandmother's nursing home of residence. You are in our thoughts and in our prayers.
