A brief update on Covid-19 and official NYS info on vaccinations
Covid-19 positive cases continue to rise in Wyoming County but the county still maintains the unofficial rating of second lowest in the eight counties of WNY. Orleans remains the lowest but both Wyoming and Orleans have experienced significant rises in their positive cases. Just look at the increase in the last three weeks for Wyoming: 1/18/21 - 1929; 2/9/21 - 2626; Orleans County stands at 2327. Channel 4 in Buffalo reports Wyoming County deaths from Covid-19 at 39 since the beginning of the pandemic.
New York State vaccination sites are open to all Phase 1a and 1b eligible individuals. The closest state sponsored sites to Wyoming County are Buffalo and Henrietta.
