...Rain changing to snow after midnight and falling temperatures may result in slippery travel late tonight and early Thursday morning...

Rain over western New York to the Genesee Valley will change to snow after midnight as colder air arrives from the west. Most areas will see less than an inch of snow overnight. However, where temperatures drop to or just below freezing late, any leftover water on roads could freeze and lead to slippery conditions on untreated roads.

Use caution if traveling late tonight and early Thursday morning as roads could become slippery in some areas.
