Many colored lights, variety of seasonal decorations surround Silver Lake in year-end holidays
My intension was to make it all around the Lake Shore, but alas, my arthritis and spinal stenosis does not allow me to accomplish as much as I used to, sorry to have to say. I was, however, chauffeured up and down Walker, Euclid, Perry Ave., Silver Lake Rd., Camp Rd., Genesee, Lakeside (west side of Asbury), and Lakeview (west side of SLI), and the length of several streets in Perry Village plus Oatka.
We may be housebound, or partially so, but the spirit of celebration is all around. As portrayed in an earlier article containing a NYS map clearly divided off by counties, we are still a 'safe' Covid county in spite of our increasing numbers. (Check out those orange and yellow danger areas of WNY.) We have much to be thankful for in these days of celebration. Let's all do our part to keep it that way for the New Year!
