UPDATE -- Brief, late afternoon sun came about shortly before 3 pm in advance of the weather change.
After a beautiful, sunny Autumn day Saturday, Silver Lakers were confronted with much cooler temperatures, rain, drizzle and wind. The lake shore is barren, the wakes are substantial, as is the cloudiness that blocks all hopes of sun. To top it off, we have just received an "Urgent Winter Weather" advisory as follows:

Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches across the higher terrain, with amounts 3 inches or less across lower elevations. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph, strongest near the Lake Erie shoreline. * WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties. * WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
