Today Silver Lake volunteers delivered an early Thanksgiving Feast for every member of families that were designated in a category deserving of neighborly love for the Thanksgiving holiday. The meal, which came delivered in a cloth bag and included pie for dessert, also contained this sincere note:
"We wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving and a happy, happy holiday season! From: Wyoming County Community Action, Silver Lake Institute residents, and Asbury Retreat Center." And of course good wishes from those who made individual contributions toward the project.
