News Briefs

  • Wyoming County Case Counts went up by 3 for the date of 11/8/20 for a new confirmed total of 246 (241 active). Pfizer's upcoming vaccine said to be 90% effective in early testing.
  • This morning's 41 degrees is expected to hit a high of 71 degrees according to AccuWeather. Others forecast a high of 73. No cool breeze today, just warmth.
  • Two yellow trees--one on Walker Road and one on Lake Road in the Village--had as many leaves remaining on the tree as leaves that had fallen from it, as observed Monday morning, Nov. 9. Most other trees have shed them all. (NT3:50pm)
  • North (Lake) Cam hits one week mark of being offline, although it is literally longer than this timeline. Repair has been scheduled. (NT11:34am) -- UPDATE: Repairs complete; Cam back online.
  • Links in the Newsletter's left column have been affected by the recent crash and work will continue to get as many as possible back into service.
