Google's map always wants to portray Lakeside Ave. (over next to Asbury) as connecting with Genesee Ave. (in SLI) with little or no mention of Carlton Road. At one time that area between Chapman (on the south) and Genesee (on the north), Perry Ave. (on the east), the Lake (on the west), contained several paper streets which never materialized (except for SLI's Fowler Ave.), along with a number of private properties not associated with either Asbury or SLI.
