A man from Erie County was killed in a crash in Wyoming County Friday evening, according to Wyoming County Sheriff's deputies. Deputies said they were called around 6:30 p.m. to Route 78 in the town of Java for a reported motorcycle crash.
When deputies arrived, they found 67-year-old Eric Reinhart had gone off the road and hit a culvert with his motorcycle, which threw him from the bike. Reinhart, who was from the town of Holland, was taken by Mercy Flight to the Erie County Medical Center; he later died there.
