The above chart shows the number of views that readers took of any one or more pages contained in the SilverLakeDailyNewsletter and its predecessor names. The Blogger Division of Google believes that viewing total content is a more valid representation of interest in a site than simply logging in to page one as some sites do. Although our history goes back to 2010, Blogger has chosen the cutoff year of 2012.
Blogger records an early statistic from June 6, 2011, as having only 5 views for that day. We began to become more popular reading ironically on the Leap Year of February 29, 2012 with 473 views including links clicked. The previous "lowest" reading was 310 views on October 31, 2012, until this year on September 11, 2020 when the national memorial caused us a dip down to 210.
As indicated above, we have had 343,000 (K) views over the 8 years charted above. The 424 number of comments has been inflated due to advertisers placing "ad comments" which have to be manually removed (Blogger does not screen for ads until the Blog owner designates them as an advertisement).
