FROM THE EDITOR -- The very day that the new SLDNewsletter electronically and visually split in half, was the end of a 24-hour period that was the heaviest news load since our inception in 2010. It wasn't planned that way. Events kept taking place on my monitors and I just kept reporting them in spite of the hassles the program was offering.
Expecting a slow day, we opened ourselves up to "News Beyond Wyoming County" which would have been far less stressful with a paid staff. I know ... I used to manage a paid staff in newspaper production. If it's any consolation, I had the most fun that I've had in a long time and felt the old exuberance of my 30's!
Most importantly, it has come to my attention that not everyone got to read or observe the results of that day, so I am opening up that site for reference and for your enjoyment.
