Photos by J. Hoffner
Participants picked up individual kits of serpent lengths to paint and decorate before the day of the parade. Yesterday (Saturday) the participants gathered at the Perry Public Beach, prepared for the parade with Josh Rice (Shake on the Lake) who then led the parade beginning south on Walker Road, east on Camp Road, south (right) on Perry Ave. continuing past the post office and Burt Park, then turning right (west) on Genesee Ave. heading toward the Lake. Coming to the end of Genesee, the parade took a right turn on Lakeview Avenue, back to Camp Road, then left on Euclid which brought the parade back to its starting point.
