Castile removes front lawn tree at #9 Haven, saying it sat in street's R.O.W.

Neighbors on Haven Ave. were informed late Wednesday afternoon that traffic flow would be interrupted the following morning due to equipment and manpower cutting down the tree that was in the front yard of #9 Haven Ave. at the very corner of Perry Ave. The tree was located in front yard of the cottage currently receiving a white metal makeover on the outside. 

Neighbors now assume that the cottage itself must be sitting in the Perry Avenue right-of-way since the tree was at least five feet in from the outer edge of the house which runs parallel to Perry Avenue. 

A second tree on the west side of Perry Ave. will also be removed.
