This Hamline Avenue garage was destroyed Friday around 5:30 pm when the branch above it, which looks like an entire tree, came crashing down destroying it. The garage belongs to the second house down from the southeast corner of Hamline and Janes Avenue, on the east end of Hamline Avenue which empties onto Thompson Ave. (Hamline is divided in two dead-end streets by private property in between them.) Damages were also done to the roof of John and Mara Rooney's extra living space which appears to be a garage from the outside. Their "garage" is at the rear of their Janes Ave. property which is opposite Epworth Hall.
