The Silver Lake Institute Board of Trustees continues to conduct the regular monthly business of the community without unnecessary delay. The trustees will conduct their meeting for August this Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10 am. The meetings are being conducted under the New York State rules for public gatherings in light of the current Covid-19 pandemic. For this reason, attendance must be restricted to the membership of the elected Board and not open to the public or residents. Anyone with potential business for the Board may speak with any Board member or Board President Kevin Colburn prior to Saturday for agenda consideration.

The Silver Lake Institute Office at 46 Wesley Avenue and the Grounds Committee has notified the SLDNewsletter that two letters have been received from GlowSolidWaste.org announcing the opportunity to get rid of your hazardous waste and your electronic waste by appointment in September.
(1) On Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Mt. Morris, NY, they will receive by appointment only, your hazardous waste.
(2) On Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Mt. Morris, NY, they will receive by appointment only, your electronic waste.
