Locally, Silver Lake is as beautiful as ever, minus the joy of human mingling. Small groups gather outdoors at the Silver Lake Institute with masks and social distancing Sunday mornings at 10:30 am (Worship); Wednesdays at 7:30 pm (Gabbing on the Green); and sunset times daily.
County-wise, Wyoming continues to maintain a very slow growth in corona-virus figures and a safe place to be.
State-wise, New York continues to maintain "control" over the spread of Covid-19 with a strong emphasis on face masks and social distancing.
Nationally, we are experiencing a trend of growth in the spread of the disease. Leadership continues to promote confusing and contradictory messages. All medical and scientific individuals and groups including the media and democrats are being accused of subverting the Presidential "truths" including mandating the opening of schools next month and into the fall. In a tweet Monday morning, the President said, "Everyone is lying."
