- The former Minneapolis Police officer who pressed his knee into George Floyd's neck was charged on Wednesday with a new, more serious count of second-degree murder, and the three other officers on scene during his killing were charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder.
- The Minneapolis Memorial Service for Mr. George Floyd will be held at North Central University in Minneapolis on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 1 p.m. CDT. Eulogy by Rev. Al Sharpton, Founder and President National Action Network. To share the event with supporters worldwide, the service will be live-streamed on local media channels. Links will also be provided here.
- Committee Reports -- The Spiritual Life Committee will submit a written report to the Board of Trustees at Saturday's limited-attendance meeting. The Program Committee will be represented by Board Member Julia Hoffner.
