The Silver Lake Institute welcomed in New York State's Phase 3 with a line of dump trucks on Lakeside Avenue mid afternoon Tuesday (June 16). The top layer of paving located at the intersection of Wesley Avenue and Lakeside Avenue was removed but passable. The trucks were located on Lakeside opposite Embury. One of the trucks was dumping some type of load right on Lakeside, but the view was blocked.
Our wondering about the trucks and the dumping was eliminated as SLI President Kevin Colburn contacted us to let us know that there were several intersections in need of new, smooth paving, so the truck activity that was seen on Lakeview today is part of this Season's paving projects.
