Overnight Snow Cleared by 8 am; this Afternoon we Have Near 0 Visibility; at 3:25 pm Still Not a Complete Covering

Mid-day was fairly clear with occasional flurries but just 3 hours later, we have an angry sky putting forth a heavy snow, most of which is melting upon contact with a somewhat warmer earth. The air temperature, however, feels a lot colder than the actual 35° on the north end of Silver Lake and the 28° temperature on the south end. At 3:30 pm, the sun came into the picture and the snow quit falling. The change was rapid from heavy snow to no snow and complete sunshine.

UPDATE 5:15 PM -- Not a trace of snow in sight nor on the ground.
