Even with a Strong Wind, Sunday's 72° Felt Much Warmer than Actual Temp

"Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful Day..." Simply gorgeous! Sunday's summer-like temperature at Silver Lake was well appreciated, even though it has not affected the National Weather Service's Freeze Watch for the hours of 1 am to 9 am, which, so far, continues the pattern of up and down temps for 2020. Finally, however, the buds on the trees have made their spring commitment and were clearly visible yesterday (May 3rd). Yellow was Mother Nature's choice of color as the Forsythia bushes were close to full bloom, along with a number of the early Daffodils still in bloom. Several trees were showing off part of their early green by allowing their buds to break forth in a hint of green things to come.
