Strong Winds cause Electricity to Sputter pushing Computers Offline

Lights flashed and flickered, modems disconnected, the internet became unsteady--at least for the Perry and Silver Lake areas. The wind rocked cars--those moving and those standing still. It located and upended leaves from last Fall and other miscellaneous papers and light weight objects.

Even as your reporter is preparing this article, a series of three or four outages in a row just occurred knocking the modem far enough off that is having to totally reboot as is the television. Luckily I have battery backup on the computer so nothing has been lost today. The late afternoon sun is shining and the wind is scheduled to ease up by 11 pm. (3 more power flickers.)
