This will be the first year that the Old Hippies will be the Silver Lake Institute's kickoff concert on July 10th. All concerts begin at 7:30 pm in Epworth Hall and run for about an hour.
July 17th will be bringing the Silver Lake Institute's first women's barbershop choir--A Special Blend. The Program Committee is proud to introduce this new opportunity in an exclusive women's choral group!
July 24th will feature an old favorite--Full Swing--bringing Big Band music! Dancing is welcomed at all musical concerts but this week particularly lends itself to the opportunity!
If the weather is dry, the concert hall will go dark for one week providing the opportunity to attend this year's Shake on the Lake (SOTL) presentation of Othello at the newly refurbished Perry Beach. In case of rain, the Epworth Concert Hall will be open for the staging of Othello. Presentations include July 30th and July 31st at 7:30 pm and a matinee August 1st at 2 pm.
