Silver Lake extends an Early, Chilly Invitation to all who cast eye upon it

Afterglow of the Friday Night Sunset
following a successful Fish Fry at Asbury.

This isn't the photo I was after, but my earlier attempts did not accomplish what I was after. This is the first day in a long time I have had the opportunity of passing by the Lake several times and witnessing the cold, fresh water of the early spring, or at least it appears that way. The rippled water creates gentle waves that cast their greeting toward the shore, in hopes that we will remember the cool, refreshing water of the hot and sticky days of July and August and even, on occasion, Memorial Day. Even though these gentle waves woo us in powerful ways, we are also reminded that we are between 30 and 60 days before the air or the water turn gentle upon the skin.
