Man with Knife, injured two Wyoming Deputies during Domestic Call

A Town of Eagle man was jailed Friday after allegedly injuring two Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies in a domestic dispute.
Ryan J. Priel, 38, was found to possess a knife and fought with deputies at the scene, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said. He was taken into custody but two officers deputies were allegedly injured in the process.
Priel was charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and third-degree menacing. He was committed to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail and is to appear in Town Court at a later date.
State police, Arcade police and state DEC police assisted at the scene.
