Winter Weather Advisory Remains in Effect from 1am to 6pm EST Today

* WHAT... Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches in the most persistent snows. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow.
* WHERE... Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties. Greatest accumulations will be across the higher terrain of the Chautauqua Ridge, Boston Hills, and Wyoming County.
* WHEN... From 1 AM to 6 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS... Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving. Submit snow reports through our website or social media.
