After a break from the snow earlier this morning, it has picked up again. The snowfall splits its time between a gentle fall verses blowing sideways. Visibility is slightly reduced. We appear to be on the upward side of six inches and could be closer to 8.
Silver Lake was not one of the areas that received rain or melting, so the snow level was not reduced yesterday as in some of the other WNY areas. Both Lakes Erie and Ontario are feeding into the current storm status which should be done by tomorrow morning. Institute roads are plowed but snow-covered.
