...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST SUNDAY... ...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM SUNDAY TO 4 AM EST MONDAY.

* WHAT 1 ... For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 14 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHAT 2 ... For the Winter Weather Advisory, mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE... Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties.
* WHEN... (1) For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, from 1 AM Sunday to 4 AM EST Monday. (2) For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 1 AM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS... Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches, so isolated power outages will be possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities. Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving. Submit snow and ice reports through our website or social media.
