NWS issues both Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Watch

..WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 
6 AM SATURDAY TO 1 AM EST SUNDAY... 

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 
LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING... 

* WHAT... For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow and sleet expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches Saturday and Saturday evening. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 14 inches possible in the most persistent lake snows across the higher terrain inland from Lake Erie late Saturday night through Monday morning. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph Saturday night, producing blowing and drifting snow. 
* WHERE... Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties. 
* WHEN... For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 6 AM Saturday to 1 AM EST Sunday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Saturday night through Monday morning. 
* IMPACTS... Travel could be very difficult with poor visibility and deep snow cover on roads. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and result in isolated power outages. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving. Submit snow reports through our website or social media. Narrow bands of heavy snow could impact portions of the region. Localized travel problems will be possible.
