February 1st falls on the first Saturday of February and that is the date set for the 2020 Mid-Winter Survivors Party!
This year the committee especially needs your input because of many new ideas being offered. Some would like to see the event taken out of the hours of darkness and wrapped up by sunset. Some would like to have the same 5 types of pizza while others think snack foods, and still others are thinking of a lunch-type meal such as Asbury's famous rollup sandwiches. Did you like the music and dancing from the Fall event? We assume you would like the game of Spoons offered again but with other options available. What time slot do you prefer (hour and a half).
No guest speakers for this party--just SLI families and time spent together. Call Greg at 493-4003 to give your preferences and your RSVP (reservations) so we know what all to order and how much to order.
Your help would really be appreciated since the committee will be short of planning members for this year's event. One member had her knee replacement five weeks ago but since the healing process is moving slowly, will not be available for the planning stages. Get your thoughts and preferences in ASAP so we have enough time for working out details with Asbury and for some publicity. Thanks!
