I am disappointed that I won't be seeing friends nor eating with them at the Asbury Christmas Brunch this Sunday. I am a member of the Perry UMC's Bell Choir and the choir has to rehearse after church from about 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm. The Bell Choir will be playing on Dec. 22nd. (1:30 would be the earliest I could get to Asbury.) Luckily, the Asbury kitchen is making arrangements for a take-out for me, so at least I won't miss out on the great food!
The night after (Monday) is the Community Band Christmas Concert (7 pm) followed by a food reception (at Perry UMC). There will be a sing-along opportunity--to which I am looking forward!
