Varysburg apparently had enough snow fall to be able to make a snow man and have it last. At least one person living on the shoreline of Silver Lake reported being unable to see across the lake which was occurring during the 8 o'clock hour of the new 2019 Daylight Savings Time.
In the areas of the Silver Lake basin and Perry, it appears that the snow was unable to stick because of the warmth of the ground.
Traveling from Wyoming to Genesee counties via Rt. 19, one could see small areas of accumulation, but no wide spread cover. In the immediate Silver Lake area, there were no signs of any snow nor snow accumulation by 1:00 pm on Sunday.
Today's forecast is calling for a high of 51, sunny and warmer, but the Noon temperature of 47 feels like the low-40s according to two persons who have been out in it. The leaves continue to fall and today are also blowing around.
