Silver Lake Newsletter Readers Can Tell Who is Keeping Up with the News

Before last Saturday's SLI Trustee Board meeting, regular readers of the Silver Lake Newsletter which included Board members seated around the table and those resident-readers seated in the visitor section awaiting the start of the meeting, heard an open conversation between two Trustees who hadn't taken their seats yet.

"Did you happen to notice if the Walkway signs were taken down yet?" inquired one Trustee of another, nodding toward the north west's Ames Walkway.

"I don't know," came the replay, "I didn't notice as I came in this morning."

Just five days before this conversation was the Monday morning story and photo in the Newsletter showing the SLI Red Truck parked on Ames and Dan about to remove the signs and pillars. A second photo showed his completed work--both signs and pillars were down for the winter season on Sept. 9, 2019.
