A full cover of clouds made it necessary this morning to set up for the worship service inside of Hoag because of the threat of rain. As luck would have it, the rain did not come, but the sun did. The sun arrived just in time for our Hot Dog Fellowship which was enjoyed completely outside. Our thanks to Lisa Schiske who set up the Hot Dog Fellowship.
Inside Hoag, the singing was robust, with Mollie Anthony serving as worship leader and the Rev. Mary E. Martin serving as our guest speaker and Children's Message. Rev. Wayne West introduced Mary. The only open complaint about being inside was from Mary who said she was so looking forward to being out on the Dock, but she otherwise remained in very high spirits!
