Silver Lake Association Hits a Home Run with Annual Summary Meeting

Silver Lake Institute's representatives to the Silver Lake Association (SLA), Jill Knitter and Sharon Pratt, could barely contain themselves when the subject of the SLA came up. Both had gone to the 9 am SLA Annual Summary meeting at The Club and returned on time for the SLI's 10 am meeting.

Look at all the information that was shared with those present at the SLA Informational Summary Meeting . . . Many of which had their own representative present to talk about their own organization . . . all those gueset speakers present at the same time and same event! . . .
Perry Beach Project,
Silver Lake Trail update,
ilake water level operations,
Perry Main Street Association,
Silver Lake Experience summary,
Pieces of Perry En Plein Air at SLI,
Silver Serpent Triathlon plans, and
Water Quality information including
an update of dredging was discussed.
Silver Lake Marine,
Silverlaken,
Sailing on Silver Lake and information on
other events was also shared.

Knitter made a brief but enthusiastic plea, that the SLI Board avoid overlapping onto the SLA's reguler meeting day and keep to its own reguler day, particularly for the September meeting but many SLA meetings are also great learning opportunities with their interesting and educational guest speakers.
