SLI Store at Hoag was a Smashing Success and Continues at SLI Office on Wesley; Other Important Information

Our guest author, Patti Unvericht, sold (and autographed) quite a few copies of her new book, The Silver Lake Institute.  If people missed out on getting a copy today, Patti has offered to provide some copies at cost for us to sell (and make a little money) during The Silver Lake Experience!

Jill Knitter and Pete Barcom were kept busy much of the afternoon, selling SLA memberships and -- of course -- flares for the 3rd of July celebration this week.  Again, for those who missed it, Craig Bateman will be selling flares in the SLI office on Monday and Wednesday during his posted office hours.  AND Sharon Pratt has graciously volunteered to sell any leftover flares on the lawn outside her cottage at 3863 (30) Lakeview Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.  (The price for flares still is $2 each.)

Garbage stickers were a hot item, as well, but sales moved quickly thanks to a whole bunch of coordination by Linda Mairs, Kevin Colburn and Mara Rooney (with assistance from Pete Mairs, Bill Schaefer, Chuck Dusel, Mike Turner and John Rooney).  Danny Dake will be selling garbage stickers at the SLI office throughout the summer every Monday from 3-5 PM.

Volunteers Lisa Schiske, Nancy Sellar, Tina Turner sold the few remaining SLI clothing items, and Kathy Schaefer staffed an SLE information table.  Many hands made light work!

With all the things to buy, 3 sign-up sheets didn't get the attention they deserve:
