The temperature held at 81 for most of the day, down to 80 at 4:25 pm. An 8 am downpour made the day feel slightly muggy. The day has been mostly cloudy but there were times of sunshine. Showers passed through the area at several points during the day. Counties east of our area have experienced windy thunderstorms with damaging hail.
Our area is due for an evening thundershower, with possible high winds and hail. The storm could continue through the night until morning. Sunshine returned at 4:39 pm this afternoon. Clouds returned around 6 pm and rain returned around 8 pm.
