After many years of handling my own annual taxes in just a relatively few hours, this year has been a shocker to me and getting professional help has required a second day committed to the project. Now I need to be prepared for the real kicker--getting far less of a refund than previously on the Federal and having to pay more on the State side. I would rather be writing stories for the Newsletter. Being a one-man operation most of the time, I don't have many options. I'm just really looking forward to the 2018 taxes being finished without too much of a painful result. I should be back in the game shortly. P.S.: I liked the old tax law much better!
