Following some brief snow shower activity in early afternoon, the radar seems to have cleared for most of Western New York. The winds at that time were moving northeast off both lakes Erie and Ontario. If the winds remain as they were, any developing precipitation off the lakes should be carried past us to our north. However, precipitation from the large mid-west storm may enter our area from Pennsylvania this evening and overnight.
