Overnight through 8 am Tuesday, Silver Lake received at least an inch of snow and the snow shower occurring at that time slowed but continued past 9 am and stopping at 9:35 am.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT UNTIL 10:15AM EST TUE ...SNOW AND SLEET MOVING IN TO THE NIAGARA FRONTIER FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE... SNOW AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE MOVING NORTH INTO THE NIAGARA FRONTIER THIS MORNING. ACCUMULATIONS WILL ONLY AMOUNT TO AN INCH OR SO THROUGH 10 AM, BUT ROADS MAY QUICKLY TURN SLICK. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS ON OVERPASSES AS WELL AS ENTRANCE AND EXIT RAMPS. THE WINTRY MIX WILL CHANGE OVER TO RAIN TOWARD THE AFTERNOON.
