Awoke to 2 inches of Snow,light flurries, and 17 Degrees

Silver Lake temperatures were only expected to drop to 21 degrees overnight but actually hit 17 degrees by 8:00 a.m. It seems unlikely that the forecast drizzle was able to withstand a temperature in the teens, but use caution anyway, still anticipating the possibility of slipperiness under the current snow layer. Roads are plowed but dusted with a fine coating of new snow--well under an inch.
