The schedule of Inspirational Services for the Summer Season on Sundays at 10:30 am has been available in this newsletter-blog since 2010 and will continue to be carried here, in the left column's "SITE MAP (General Public)" under "SLI Programs." All readers need to do is click on the SITE MAP links to read about the guest speakers. Guest musicians and service leaders will be listed sometime in Spring when their names become available to us.
The name change to "Inspirational Speakers Series" took place last Fall, so Epworth Hall would be more clearly seen as our performing arts center and not be confused as a church or religious institution. We felt this especially important during the time that we were receiving grant money for the new roof. The upgrade in terminology may not appear elsewhere, because it has not yet been universally adopted yet.
The Inspirational Services Committee (former worship committee) has discovered that our weekly attendance is better at our outdoor services, so we may spend more time outdoors this year. At this point in the planning, we have two services at the Big Blue Dock, one at Stoody Hall, and one under the tent in Burt Park. Any changes of location or guests will be immediately noted in this newsletter-blog's listings.
