This might have been a great "survivors weekend" with the forecast snow storm about to begin by morning hours. Secretly, however, we are happy that we don't have to battle the snow storm and will keep praying for "decent" weather on the weekend of February 2nd at 4 pm. All assignments have been received and the party has the same basic plan as last year with the exception of not doing a mailing this year. Rather, we opted for road signs posted at Perry Ave. and Wesley Ave. and also posted at Chapman Road and Perry Ave.
Please call a friend or neighbor who would enjoy our time together but might not be out and driving this month.... Also, let me encourage you to call in your intentions of being there as soon as possible and no later than Jan. 30th so purchases of supplies and pizza can be ordered in abundant supply. Offer to call in your friend or neighbor's RSVP and/or offer them a ride. Thanks! 493-4003.
The scheduled Planning Committee meeting was to do an item by item review of the details answering any last minute questions and making any last minute suggestions. We will be resorting to "Email Meetings" during the next 2 weeks with a possible meeting next weekend.
