The snow coming down on the Institute grounds stopped falling at 9 pm last night and has not resumed as of 1:30 am Thursday. The Storm War8ning will officially end at 6 pm Thursday, unless of course it gets extended. SLI still has last year's big snow season in mind and so residents will be just pleased as punch to have a whole lot less this season. It is 22 degrees at 1:30 am, the high for the day will rise only to 23 degrees, and will drop to 11 degrees for tonight.
- 7 am Update -- The Institute grounds received approximately 2 inches of snow between 1:30 am and 7:00 am. at which time it is no longer snowing. As of 7 am, there are 11 hours remaining in the Winter Storm Warning. The temperature at 7 am is 20 degrees.
- 8 am Update -- Very light snowfall with a moderate wind has begun.
- 12 Noon Update -- Snow has stopped; depth remaining at approximately 2 inches; stiff breeze continues; Noon temperature is 23 degrees.
